Tail"Gator"

Henry's school had their annual Tail"Gator" (their mascot is the gator) fundraiser on Sept. 19. It was a fun night. They catered in Chick-fil-A for meals and had games, pony rides, bouncy houses and slides, a rock climbing wall and a hot air balloon "ride" (actually it went about 20 feet in the air and then came back down, but all the kids loved it!) Henry, Aida and I waiting to play a game.

Henry and his friend Walker in the hot air balloon. I would have gone in the balloon, but I was volunteering and taking all the money to ride it! Nate took the pic!

Aida's turn.

Community Helper

Henry's class dressed up as community helpers last Friday at school (their theme of the week). He dressed up as a policeman with a K-9 dog (a.k.a. Fritzy the build-a-bear!)

Kitty Camoflauge

Charlotte has been seeking out high places lately due to Rosy. I put clean laundry on top of our bed for folding and found her asleep in the middle of it!

Puppy on a Platter?

Rosy climbed up on the buffet shelf and went to sleep on my turkey platter!

Rosy!

We have a new addition to our family! A little golden retriever puppy Henry named Rosy. I went and picked her up in Little Rock from a breeder who has been breeding for 9 years. She came from a litter of 11 puppies! So far she is a good puppy. She doesn't bark much or whine. She is doing ok potty training with the exception of a few accidents. She does like to bite and chew which causes a few problems - especially when she grabs the kids clothes that they are wearing and doesn't let go!! The breeder has 8 kids, so Rosy was already used to playing with children which is a major plus in our neighborhood! She is 10 weeks old now.

Aida and Henry saw me posting on the blog and wanted their pic taken with Rosy!

Rosy loves to play outside.

Rosy and Henry. She has such a posh bed! She sleeps in our room on my side of the bed. She is very good about laying down and going to bed when we do!

A sleepy puppy!

Henry donated his little Scooby Doo dog and Rosy loves to chew on him!
