Upward Celebration...

Henry's last Upward basketball game was Feb. 14. He scored twice! He really improved as the season progressed. From the first game being scared to go out and play to scoring in the last two games, and getting recognition for best offense! He will probably play next year and we may be getting a basketball goal at home so he can play with the neighbors and Nate! Upward is a nice program for kids to help them learn the game and not be too overly competitive!

Henry with his team after the "celebration." It was so cute! There were a ton of K thru 2nd graders at the celebration. They had an illusionist come and the kids loved it! I love hearing all those little boys and girls laugh and have fun!! I was almost in tears being the weirdo mommy!

Henry and Darryn who we nicknamed Little "D."

Henry received this backpack as a gift for participating, and it trumped his Gap backpack for school!

Valentine's Gifts from my Aunt Lisa

Aunt Lisa (my aunt in Houston) sent the kids a box FULL of Valentine's gifts! Cupcake mix, icing, spatula, apron, mit, pot holder, towel, balloons for balloon animals, bubbles, coloring books and a lot of dress up stuff for Aida! It was very fun to watch the kids open the gifts. We made the cupcakes on Valentine's day and they were yummy! Thanks Lisa and Mike!

Aida being - well, AIDA!

All the cupcakes!

Mix Mix Mix - Look at the cute little apron! Aida also played waitress in this apron and served Nate and I "dinner."

Aida wanted to try and hold as much as she could for this pic...silly head.
