Houston Easter trip

We went to Houston for Easter to celebrate my Paw Paw's 85th birthday. My mom, dad, sister, her kids, me, Nate and our kids took two cars to make the 9 hour drive. We had a nice visit. I hadn't seen my Paw Paw and cousins, aunts, uncles, etc., for over 2 years. My Paw Paw didn't know we were coming and didn't know he was having a surprise party. Anyway, over 40 family members showed up to celebrate on Saturday. It was soooo nice to see all of my 1st cousins and some of my second and third cousins too! The kids had a blast playing at Aunt Lisa's house. It reminded me of when me and Monica used to go and stay for a week or so when we were little. I didn't take many pictures at all! We didn't have a long time to visit and that was more important...Here are the few I did take - most at a catfish restaurant in Jacinto City.

Paw Paw Timpani - the cowboy!!

A way too close up shot of Michael! He is all grown up now and a great cook!

Henry and Patrick (the two partners in crime) had so much fun. They played and ran and climbed on stuff (specifically Lisa's poor furniture) the whole weekend.

Aunt Monica holding Aida while she talks to Georgia (one of my seven first cousins.)

Georgia and her hubby Jake.

Aida at Aunt Lisa's house playing with a pail of little rubber duckies.

I tried unsuccessfully to take a picture of Makennah, my niece, but she is 12 and in that preteen weirdo stage so she hid when I tried to get her picture.
